I want to believe. I found the Fox Mulder poster at ComiCon FanX. I didn't need to look at a description or ask the sales associate what it was. I knew. So did the lady behind me. It's now rolled up in a tube waiting to be hung inside my closet. I can pretend I live in the real world with my grown-up furniture, but when all is said and done, Dr. Who and the X-Files are still hanging out in my hidden spaces.
After riding on the train with Velma and Shaggy, I arrived at ComiCon. I was sent to the wrong line at first, but I just casually hopped into the correct line without being noticed. In the sea of spandex and weaponry I spotted Negan, Rick, Carl and many others. I think I spotted a Tom Baker Dr. Who also. I ended up coming home with Eleven and the X-Files in my bag. Eleven now has a home on my desk at work.
